Baswell Resources Berhad (Baswell) was incorporated in Malaysia on 26 February 2001 as a public limited company under the name of Baswell Resources Berhad. The company was listed on the Bursa Malaysia on 30 January 2003. Baswell is an investment holding company while its subsidiary companies, Baswood Industries Sdn. Bhd. , Aimwood Furniture Industries Sdn. Bhd. , Woodmaster Furniture Consolidation Sdn. Bhd. and Deswell Packaging (M) Sdn. Bhd., are principally involved in the manufacture and export of wooden furniture with in-house preservative treatment and kiln drying facilities and conversion of corrugated paper boxes and other related products.

Baswell Group prides itself as an integrated manufacturer of rubber wood furniture products, with its own in-house preservative treatment and kiln drying facilities. It manufactures a wide range of products including dining sets, buffets and hutches, table and chairs, bar stools and occasional items. As an integrated furniture manufacturer involved in the whole process of production from raw materials to finished products, the Group is able to plan it’s delivery effectively so as to ensure all its delivery commitments are promptly met. The conversion of corrugated paper boxes operation supplements and enhance its export delivery commitments. The corrugated paper operation has also contributed as a prominent subsidiary of the Group in creating a reputable name in the market.
